Fresh-squeezed, by hand — one pink lemon on our counter

Behind the counter at Lechin

Lechin is a corner shop with a striped awning and a very short counter. There is one thing on it — a hand juicer shaped like a lemon, in grapefruit pink — and we like it that way.

One lemon, three parts

The lid
A lemon-shaped cap with eighteen small thorns inside. It holds the fruit half and does the pressing while you twist.
The cones
A white cone full of drainage holes for citrus halves, and a long pink cone for grapes, pomegranate seeds and watermelon.
The cup
3.6 inches tall, with a pouring spout and a ring underneath that keeps it still on a wet counter.

Why only one thing?

Every product on a counter should fix a small, annoying problem better than whatever is already in your drawer. Our juicer keeps peel oil off your hands, holds slippery limes still and goes in the dishwasher. We haven't found a second thing that earns its place as clearly — so the space next to it stays empty.

That keeps us honest. All our attention goes to one product page, one set of measurements and one pile of real buyer reviews.
